According to UWATA Constitution (2012 Edition), UWATA is led by Patrons who are assisted by the Board of Trustees.
Under the Board is the Central Committee led by the UWATA Chairman. The Central Committee’s Secretariat is charged
with the daily running of the Organization. The Secretariat is led by the UWATA Secretary General, who is the Chief
Spokesman and In-charge of the daily activities of UWATA. Under the Central Committee, there are Zonal Committees
and finally, the Branch Committees. This hierarchical organizational structure is the one which make the
leadership function smoothly in UWATA. All in all, again, according to the Constitution, the SUPREME Body of UWATA
is the Annual General Meeting. This is the topmost decision making body of our organization. The Meeting is held
annually between November and December every calendar year. It may be held on emergency or as special meeting as
circumstances may deem necessary.
